What's New This Week (April 19, 2026)

Free Pro access this week — plus interactive knowledge graphs and maturity assessments. Email info@mfgusecases.com for a 7-day trial. New this week: explore how any cause, enabler, or KPI connects across the entire use case network, and assess your team's maturity across 15 manufacturing functions.

This Week: Try Pro Free for 7 Days

We're opening up Pro access to all subscribers this week. Full access to root cause analysis, enabler recommendations, causal influence scoring, and everything else behind the paywall — free for 7 days.

To activate your trial, just send an email to info@mfgusecases.com and we'll send you a link. No credit card, no commitment.

New: Interactive Knowledge Graphs

Every cause, enabler, KPI, and strategic goal in the platform now has its own interactive network graph showing how it connects across use cases.

Pick any root cause — say, "Incompatible System Formats" — and the graph shows you every use case it affects, which value leaks it drives, which enablers address it, and which KPIs it impacts. A focus slider lets you zoom from the full network down to the top 5% highest-impact connections.

You can enter the graph from any library page (Causes, Enablers, KPIs) using the network icon next to each item, or from within any use case's knowledge graph by clicking on a node. Each click takes you deeper into the network — from a cause graph to an enabler graph to a goal graph — all connected.

This is the kind of cross-cutting analysis that's hard to do manually. Instead of asking "what does this enabler do?", you can see exactly which use cases it touches, how strongly it's connected, and what strategic goals it rolls up to.

New: Maturity Assessments on mfg-surveys.com

We've launched a companion platform for structured self-assessment. Fifteen department-specific surveys — from Quality and Maintenance to Plant Finance and IT/OT — each built on the same ontology that powers the use case library. The questions you answer tie directly to specific process areas, value leaks, and improvement opportunities you can act on.

Each assessment is organized into pillars and process areas, scored on a 1-5 maturity scale. Every subsection also carries an importance rating, so your results highlight where low maturity meets high importance — the places worth attention first.

Invite colleagues into a company workspace and individual scores roll up into a team view: a members-by-assessment heatmap, coverage stats, and a ranked list of priority gaps. From any gap list, one click generates a shareable team roadmap — a curated set of matched use cases from mfgusecases.com that addresses your highest-priority gaps first.

Not sure where to start? Every department has a "Start Here" intro — 15 questions drawn from the first pillar. Takes about five minutes. Your intro answers carry forward to the full assessment so you never repeat yourself.

Try it: Visit mfg-surveys.com to take your first assessment, or click "Take Assessment" in the mfgusecases.com navigation bar.

Also This Week

  • Department & Pillar browsing — The Explore menu now includes a hierarchical view organized by department and survey pillar, with direct links to each use case's knowledge graph.

  • Process area labels — Use case cards and lists now lead with the process area name rather than the full generated title. Clearer at a glance.

As always, the full use case library is free to browse. Pro access unlocks root cause analysis, enabler details, and the deeper layers of each use case.
