Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Smart Manufacturing Use Case Platform ("Platform") operated by Visual Decisions Inc. ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

The Platform provides a structured library of manufacturing use cases spanning AI, digital transformation, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence. Content is available at different access tiers — Free (Registered) and Pro — as described on our Pricing page.

3. Accounts

You must sign in using a valid Google or Microsoft account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

Pro Access: Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

Refunds: Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at support@mfgusecases.com within 7 days of a charge if you believe a refund is warranted.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute Platform content for commercial purposes without written permission
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Platform
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Use automated tools to access the Platform at scale

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including use case descriptions, analyses, implementation guides, and example scenarios, is owned by Visual Decisions Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your own internal business purposes. This license does not include the right to republish, distribute, or create derivative works.

7. AI-Generated Content

Some content on the Platform, including Example Scenarios, is generated with the assistance of AI. This content is illustrative only and does not represent real companies, events, or outcomes. We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Content on the Platform is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Visual Decisions Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Illinois.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
